Starting with Self Storage
Self storage is a service offering flexible, do-it-yourself storage for domestic and business customers. We provide clean and dry, individually alarmed and fully ventilated self storage rooms. You can access the facility completely independently, using your unique access code. Your self storage room is secured with your own padlock (full range available in our box shop), ensuring that only you have access to your goods.
Our units range from lockers to double garage sizes & everything in-between, subject to availability. All our rooms are measured in square feet. To find the right size of unit for your requirements, we suggest you start with our online space calculator. We can also help you with a space estimate, by calling us on 01480 830130. Space estimates are provided as guides only & ultimately it's your responsibility to ensure the size is adequate for your needs. The best way to determine the optimium size for you, is by arranging a viewing, to see different room sizes for yourself.

Our rooms are not heated - the temperature within our stores is ambient, notwithstanding the season. Our buildings are insulated so that our stores are never too hot or cold. Full ventilation is actually more important to consider than temperature, when storing precious items.
We offer a purpose built facility, with steel partitioned, fully ventilated rooms of all different sizes, from lockers through to double garage sized rooms. We're by far the best quality self storage solution for South-West Cambridgeshire, including Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives & Cambourne.

We're the best self storage facility in South-west Cambridgeshire. Whilst being the cleanest & easiest to use, we offer purpose built, fully secure, ventilated units, with complete independent customer access - at guaranteed low prices.
Whilst other local places may claim to offer 'self storage' it's often the case that you're actually unable to access your items independently. Shipping containers and wooden crates are inferior storage options, as they offer little or no ventilation - which is really the key to quality self storage. Other facilities offer '24 hour access' which is actually a security risk, when unstaffed at night. This is explained in further detail in self storage for beginners.
About Our Service
You can store almost anything in our self storage units. The only exceptions are;
- Living items - such as animals & plants
- Liquids - such as water, drink or fuel
- Hazardous materials - such as flammable liquids and explosives
- Items that could decompose - such as exposed foodstuffs
- Unauthorised or illegal goods - such as firearms, drugs etc.
You're welcome to stay for one month, 6 months, 2 years - or for as long as you require.
You could store for as little as one day, but our minimum charge period is to the end of the first full calendar month.
Our customer access hours are everyday 7am - 9pm. Morespace customers can come and go as often as they please during these times. If you're new to Morespace and would view our facility, please contact us to arrange your appointment or arrange an appointment online.
We charge on a calendar monthly basis, payable in advance, on or before the first day of each month. Charging 'per calendar month' is obviously the equivalent of 12 payments per year - and is different to most other self storage providers which usually quote ‘per week’ and then charge you every 4 weeks – which is the equivalent of 13 payments per year.
Initial payments are made by debit/credit card or direct bank transfer. Further calendar monthly payments are made by standing order or automatically by debit/credit card (online sign-ups only).
When you're confident of the room size you require & wish to start storing within one calendar month, you can reserve an available self storage room by paying the first calendar month as a non-refundable deposit - which is subtracted from your first invoice when you visit to sign your licence agreement.

Either sign your licence agreement online, or sign your licence agreement in person by appointment (arrange online or phone us on 01480 830130).
You need your own padlock (a full range is sold in our box shop) to ensure you're the sole key holder for your unit and your unit is securely locked at all times.
Yes - we sell an extensive range of packing materials from boxes to bubble wrap. Packaging materials can be purchased in person from our box shop.
Yes there are trolleys, pump trucks & furniture dollies available in our loading bays, to help transport items from your vehicle to your self storage unit.
We require a minimum of 14 days notice before the end of any month, to vacate your self storage room. Outgoing customers finish at the end of each month, according to our calendar monthly billing cycles.
You are welcome to move to another size unit at any time, up or down size and as often as you see necessary. The minimum notice period applies to downsizing.
Requesting a Quote
The price of a storage room depends upon the size of unit required. We suggest that you consult our online space calculator, or speak to a member of our staff, to determine the self storage unit size for your requirements. A quote on the correct size of self storage unit(s) can then be requested by calling us on 01480 830130, or by registering online.
Contents insurance is mandatory when storing with us. You can provide proof of your third party contents insurance policy when you sign up, otherwise you'll need to purchase our contents insurance option, like most of our other customers do for convenience.
All our quotes are provided with our price guarantee. Further reductions are available by following us on social media & signing up by appointment.
Ready to Start Storing
You need to present identification & make your first payment by debit or credit card. Everything you need to start storing is shown in our check list.

You can bring your goods in your own vehicle. We have ample car parking and loading/unloading areas. When the weather's poor, our loading bays will protect you from rain or wind when loading & unloading your vehicle.
