About Our Facility
Why are you better than the rest?
We’re the best self storage facility in South-west Cambridgeshire. Whilst being the cleanest & easiest to use, we offer purpose built, fully secure, ventilated units, with complete independent customer access – at guaranteed lows prices.
Whilst other local places may claim to offer ‘self storage’ it’s often the case that you’re actually unable to access your items independently. Shipping containers and wooden crates are inferior storage options, as they offer little or no ventilation – which is really the key to quality self storage. Other facilities offer ’24 hour access’ which is actually a security risk, when unstaffed at night. All this is explained in further detail in self storage for beginners.
When can I arrange to view your facility?
Viewings are available when arranged by appointment, during our office hours which are Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm, and Saturday 9am – 1pm. We can sometimes arrange viewings on week day evenings, subject to availability and by request. Please call us to arrange your appointment.
Are the storage units heated?
Our rooms are not heated. However the temperature within our stores is ambient, notwithstanding the season. Our buildings are insulated so that our stores are never too hot or cold.
What security do you have?
- 24 hour megapixel CCTV located inside and outside the main building, monitoring all entrances and exits
- Top of the range alarm systems for the building and one for each individual storage room
- Coded electronic access to the building allowing access only with your own personal access code (gate, shutters and entrance doors)
- A fire and smoke detection system
- Intruder P.I.R (Passive Infra Red)
- Management live 50 metres from storage facility
Where is the self storage facility located?
Our facility is found in the village of Graveley, between Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives & Cambourne, not far from the A1 and A14 in South-west Cambridgeshire. The postcode is PE19 6PH.

Can you offer any discount?
Do I need insurance?
Contents insurance is mandatory when storing with us. You can provide proof of your third party contents insurance policy when you sign up with us, otherwise you’ll need to purchase contents insurance through us, like most of our other customers do for convenience.
How much does it cost to store my things with you?
The price of a storage room depends upon the size of unit required. We suggest that you consult our online space calculator, or speak to a member of our staff, to determine the self storage unit size for your requirements. A quoted on the correct size of self storage unit(s) can then be requested under our price guarantee, by calling us on 01480 830130.
About Our Service
What notice is required to finish storing?
We require a minimum of 14 days notice before the end of any month, to vacate your self storage room. All outgoing customers finish at the end of each month, according to our calendar monthly billing cycles.
Do you have trolleys available?
Yes there are trolleys, pump trucks & furniture dollies available in our loading bays, to help transport items from your vehicle to your self storage unit.
Why do I need my own padlock?
You need your own padlock (a full range is sold in our box shop) to ensure that you’re the sole key holder for your unit – and to ensure that your unit is securely locked at all times.
Do you sell boxes and packing materials?
Yes – we sell an extensive range of packing materials from boxes to bubble wrap. Packaging materials can be purchased in person from our box shop.
What is the minimum time I can store with you?
Our minimum storage period is one calendar month.
What are your customer access hours?
Our customer access hours are everyday 7am – 9pm. Morespace customers can come and go as often as they please during these times. If you’re new to Morespace and would like a guided tour of our facilities, please contact us to arrange your appointment.
Can I transfer to another unit if I find I have too much or too little space?
You are welcome to move to another size unit at any time, up or down size and as often as you see necessary. The minimum notice period applies to downsizing.
Do I have to reserve a room?
You need to talk to us first. Depending on availability, you can visit us by making an appointment and move-in immediately afterwards. To be assured of a specific sized room, it’s advisable to reserve your room in advance of when you wish to start storing.
Do I pay weekly or monthly?
We charge on a calendar monthly basis, payable in advance, on or before the first day of each month. Charging ‘per calendar month’ is obviously the equivalent of 12 payments per year – and is different to most other self storage providers which usually quote ‘per week’ and then charge you every 4 weeks – which is the equivalent of 13 payments per year.
How can I pay for my self storage unit?
We offer a number of initial payment options including credit card, debit card, or direct bank transfer. All further calendar monthly payments are made by standing order.
How long can I use self storage?
You’re welcome to stay for one month, 6 months, 2 years – or for as long as you require.
What can I store?
You can store almost anything in our self storage units. The only exceptions are;
- Living items – such as animals & plants
- Hazardous materials – such as flammable liquids and explosives
- Items that could decompose – such as exposed foodstuffs
- Unauthorised or illegal goods – such as firearms, drugs etc.

There’s usually a few options available and we’re happy to recommend trusted services upon request.
How can I move my goods to your facility?
You can bring your goods in your own vehicle. We have ample car parking and loading/unloading areas. When the weather’s poor, our loading bays will protect you from rain or wind when loading & unloading your vehicle.
What do I need to start storing?
You need to arrange an appointment to view our facility, which can be made by calling us on 01480 830130. If you decide to start storing, you need to present identification & make your first payment by debit or credit card. Everything you need to start storing is shown in our check list.

What size of self storage unit do I need?
Our units range from lockers to double garage sizes & everything in-between, subject to availability. All our spaces are measured in square feet. To find the right size of unit for your requirements, we suggest you start with our online space calculator. We can also help you with a space estimate, by calling us on 01480 830130. Space estimates are provided as guides only & ultimately it’s your responsibility to ensure the size is adequate for your needs. The best way to determine the optimium size for you, is by viewing some different room sizes for yourself.
What is self storage and how does it work?
Self storage is a service offering flexible, do-it-yourself storage for domestic and business customers. We provide clean and dry, individually alarmed and fully ventilated, self storage rooms. With your own unique PIN code, You can access the facility completely independently. Your storage room is locked with your own padlock (a full range is sold in our store), ensuring that only you have access to your goods.
